This feels entirely intentional, creating chaos amid the partial government shutdown. 🧊 agents are not trained to conduct TSA screenings, nor are they equipped to properly verify the wide range of international passports and credentials outside of the U.S. Their presence seems more symbolic than practical, more about intimidation than actual support.

How does this address the TSA staffing shortage in any meaningful way? Instead, it's longer security lines, confusion, potential harassment and even wrongful detainment.

At a time when travelers are already dealing with frustration and delays, this only adds another layer of instability. It’s hard not to see how this could escalate an already strained situation into something far more chaotic. SMH.
