The most famous cardiologist of the twentieth century said he never heard of a heart attack until after he left medical school, and he left medical school in 1911.
Paul Dudley White. Eisenhower's doctor. Founder of the American Heart Association's science.
His own words: when he graduated in 1911 he had never heard of coronary thrombosis, and none of his teachers thought it worth a lecture.
James Herrick described the heart attack in 1912, in Chicago, in the journal of the American Medical Association, and later said the paper fell like a dud. Nobody could see why it mattered. Nobody was seeing the disease.
By 1921 heart disease was the leading cause of death in America.
By 1960 it was killing more men in their fifties than every cancer combined.
Between the dud paper and the epidemic, one thing entered the American kitchen that had never been in any kitchen before.
Crisco, 1911. Cottonseed oil, hydrogenated, in a tin with a cookbook.
Corn oil, soybean oil, margarine, the fryer.
Butter and lard had been on that table for four hundred years, and the doctors had four hundred years of not needing a word for what happened next.
A disease that had no name in 1911 got its own hospital wing by 1960.
The fat they blamed was the fat that was there the whole time. The fat they missed arrived the year the doctor graduated.
Prediction: the next organ procurement organization to be decertified will be the New Jersey Sharing Network.
The NJ Sharing Network was put on notice in 2025 by the US House Ways and Means Committee after whistleblower allegations:
1. A shocking case of beginning the organ recovery process from a patient who later showed signs of life, and despite those signs of life, executives directed the organization’s frontline staff to continue with the organ recovery process.
2. Organ allocation which skips the national waitlist at a rate far above national average, allegedly tied to quid-pro-quo arrangements with a least one transplant center with questionable practices.
3. Instances of organ harvesting without patient consent, including the use of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission documents to unfairly pressure families during a time of grief.
4. A mass discard of 100 pancreata on a single day, raising questions about whether they are recovering pancreata to perform legitimate research or to improve their metrics and reimbursement.
And then, this summer, despite being under federal investigation, NJ Sharing Network staff reportedly made FALSE STATEMENTS to a family in order to obtain organs.
Keith Lott, 47, suffered cardiac arrest on May 16, 2026, and was later declared “brain dead.” Lott was not an organ donor because he had CANCELLED his donor registration after converting to Islam.
But instead of respecting his decision, NJ Sharing Network pressured his family. According to Lott’s sister-in-law, they were told:
“When you check that box to be a donor, it’s a lifetime contract.”
Thankfully, the family stood firm and contacted their state senator, who got NJ Sharing Network to back down.
The system is not safe. Refuse to be a registered organ donor AND notify your family to defend your wishes.

🚨BREAKING: Fremont, Nebraska rejected a 22-year-old volunteer firefighter for a paid job because he was homeschooled.
Andrew Coates already runs into burning buildings for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT. He wanted to get paid to do the work he already does for free.
The job ad said “graduation from high school.” He has a diploma. The city said homeschool is unaccredited in Nebraska and turned him down in April.
After that, Fremont added the word “accredited” to the description.
His own chief, Chris Lichtenberg: “I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here… because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him.”
Dozens of homeschool families showed up. The Civil Service Commission said city policy is not their job.
When your house is on fire, you will not ask the man carrying your kids out where he sat for algebra.

In this video, you will hear a man say those who don’t pray to Allah are worse than rapists. He also refused to answer whether or not we deserved 9/11 and so did many others.
One man told me that if I was against Islam that I should be killed. When I asked him directly… “I should be killed?” he answered, “Yeah.” He then proceeded to say it was American christians and jews that did 9/11.
I then attended the prayer and watched the Imam tell us that the whole world is against Islam but that victory will soon come for Allah.
Multiple people I interviewed at the mosque told me that they do not believe Muslim hijackers were responsible for 9/11.
Others told me they don't believe Hamas is a terrorist organization.
Another man told me the Holocaust didn’t happen and that he wants the whole world to become Muslim. I ran into 2 other people outside the mosque that also believed the Holocaust didn’t happen.
Again, these are just random people attending this mosque.
I watched as a taxi driver drove up onto the sidewalk and said he was going to park there, which is completely illegal in New York City. When I confronted him and told him that he was breaking the law, he said that it was fine to do it during prayer time. When I went to tell the traffic police about it, they ran away from me and refused to report the violation.
This all happened just blocks from where nearly 3,000 people were killed on September 11, 2001.

PROCES JEAN-LOUIS LEROUX - JOUR 1
Il y avait salle comble hier pour l'ouverture du procès de Jean-Louis Leroux à Reims. Pour rappel, l'agriculteur de 53 ans est accusé de "tentative de meurtre" sur un voleur de carburant.
Au cours du même procès sont jugés également les 3 voleurs, dont Diego Heinrich, victime du tir.
Ce lundi, le procès a commencé par l'audition de la directrice d'enquête. Elle récapitule : dans la nuit du 31 janvier au 1er février 2020, Jean-Louis et son frère sont réveillés par leur nouvelle alarme intrusion. Ils se postent donc vers 1h40, avec leurs fusils de chasse, à des points « stratégiques » définis quelques jours plus tôt.
A la vue des voleurs, ils effectuent un premier tir en l'air, puis un second dans leur direction. « Il a tiré dans la panique, par peur d'être encerclé ». Diego Heinrich faisait le guet et il sera retrouvé quelques dizaines de mètres plus loin dans sa voiture, gravement blessé.
Puis, le frère de l'agriculteur est écouté à la barre. Les 2 frères divergent. Jean-Louis dit que les tirs visaient « à les empêcher de partir » mais « à les faire fuir » selon son frère.
Puis, c'est au tour de Jean-Louis de prendre la parole : « Je reconnais avoir tiré à cause de la peur. Je suis bien désolé de ce qui est arrivé à ce monsieur », puis il dit ne jamais avoir eu volonté de donner la mort.
Enfin, c'est le président de la FDSEA qui est intervenu à la barre, et qui a rappelé les difficultés du métier et les nombreux vols qui touchent les fermes.
A noter que tous les protagonistes reconnaissent les faits (les vols et les tirs). Les divergences portent sur les intentions de Leroux.
Me Chemla, l'avocat de Jean-Louis Leroux, a rappelé les très nombreux vols entre 2013 et 2020. Dont 5 plaintes dans le mois précédent. Son client était « excédé et fatigué »...
Les voleurs, eux, estiment qu'il y a eu un véritable guet-apens et que les tirs les visaient directement.
Ce mardi, ce seront les experts qui interviendront. Le verdict est attendu pour jeudi...

Patients and families are increasingly refusing standard blood transfusions. They’re demanding directed donations from people they know are unvaccinated instead.
Blood banks don’t record or label donor vaccination status, so this is the only workaround some will accept.
A Vanderbilt review found these requests caused delays. In a few cases patients got significantly sicker while waiting.
Trust in the blood supply is broken for a lot of people... this is the reality when 81% of people are vaccinated and only 19% refused the shots.

This vaccine should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. It is not known whether fluvarin is excreted in human milk."
4. "Fluvarin has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility."
5. "Antibody response is low in the geriatric population."
6. "Serious reactions, including anaphylactic shock, have been observed."
7. "There are no data to assess the concomitant administration of flu vaccine with other vaccines."
8. "The vaccine has been associated with an increased frequency of Guillain-Barre syndrome."
9. "In some studies, fluvarin protected up to 50% of subjects."

My daughter caught the surgical team marking her right knee when the surgery was scheduled for her left.
ACL repair, pretty routine. She's on the table, already sedated but still conscious. Surgeon comes in with a marker to indicate the surgical site.
Starts drawing on her right knee.
My daughter, groggy but aware: "That's the wrong knee."
Surgeon looks up. "What?"
"Left knee. ACL tear is in my left knee."
Surgeon checks the chart. Confusion on his face. Checks again.
"The consent form says right knee."
My daughter tries to sit up against the restraints. "The consent form is wrong. The MRI, the physical therapy, everything has been for my LEFT knee."
Nurse jumps in, checking the computer. "Doctor, the imaging is all left knee. The PT notes say left. The orthopedic consult says left."
Surgeon looks at the consent form again. "But you signed this saying right knee."
"Because I trusted you to give me the right form! My LEFT knee is the one that's injured!"
Room goes quiet. Anesthesiologist stops prep. Everyone's looking at each other.
Surgeon finally calls timeout. "Let me verify the imaging."
Takes fifteen minutes. Comes back. "You're correct. The consent form was filled out wrong. We'll need to redo the paperwork."
My daughter refused to proceed that day. Made them reschedule, triple-check everything, and have the orthopedic surgeon who did her initial consult verify before she'd come back.
Surgery happened two weeks later. Different surgical team. She made them show her the imaging and consent form before allowing any sedation.
Got a call from hospital risk management apologizing for the "clerical error."
Clerical error. They almost operated on the wrong body part.
She left a detailed review. Hospital never publicly responded.
In 1939, a British doctor stood up in front of Singapore's businessmen and told them their tinned milk trade was killing babies, and that the deaths should be recorded as murder. Then she named the product.
Cicely Williams had earned the right to say it the hard way. In the early 1930s, working in the Gold Coast, she kept seeing toddlers arrive at her clinic swollen, peeling and dying, always the same story: a new baby at home, and the older child moved off the breast and onto maize gruel. The local Ga mothers already had a name for it, kwashiorkor, the sickness of the child deposed by the next one. Williams worked out what it was: the gruel had no real protein in it. Take a growing child off milk and put him on a plant paste, and he falls apart from the inside.
Her superior, a celebrated authority on tropical medicine, informed her she was wrong, that this was merely pellagra, already described, nothing new, and certainly nothing discovered by a junior woman. She published anyway, in The Lancet in 1935, and she was right, and it took the profession the better part of 2 decades to admit a condition that was killing children by the hundred thousand had been identified by the one doctor who actually sat with the mothers and asked what the child ate.
Then Singapore, 1939, and the second fight. The shops of Malaya were stacked with sweetened condensed skimmed milk, sold with a fat, beaming white baby on the label, and mothers were being persuaded off the breast and onto it. Skimmed: the fat removed, and with it the vitamins, from the one food a baby cannot do without, sold to the poorest women in the empire as modern and superior. Williams watched the infants come in blind and dying, and delivered the speech that follows her name around: Milk and Murder. Misguided propaganda on infant feeding, she told the Rotary Club, should be punished as the most criminal form of sedition. The audience contained men who sold the stuff. She had checked the guest list first.
Three years later the Japanese took Singapore. She spent the war in Changi, and 5 months of it in the hands of the Kempeitai, and came out at 6 stone, and went straight back to work. In 1948 the new World Health Organization made her its first head of maternal and child health. She died in 1992, at 98, having outlived nearly everyone who had corrected her.
Her Singapore speech was dug out and reprinted in the 1970s, when the formula companies had moved from tins in Malaya to powder across Africa, and it lit the fuse under the Nestlé boycott and the 1981 marketing code the industry has been treading on ever since.
She kept saying one thing for 60 years, and it is the whole argument: the animal food is the food. The baby needs milk and the child needs protein, real protein, and every fortune ever made steering mothers away from that fact was built on a mound of small graves.
Turn today's formula tin round and read the ingredients. Seed oils, up near the top, in the first food of millions of children.
She told a room full of salesmen what that trade was called. Nobody has ever improved on the word.
