@g__j have dm’d your team after my original tweet apparently it’s perfectly reasonable to ask a customer to test a circuit breaker! Engineer’s visit would be more appropriate. Error has occurred ever since Octopus installed the car charger - not the level of service expected
@OctopusEnergy didn’t realise I had to study electrical engineering to be able to use my car charger. Advice received after 3 months of emails from your 2nd line support includes asking me to test a circuit breaker. Think an engineer’s visit might be more appropriate
@Paul_B_Tovey@Beloved71478281@GrandCamouflage@ITV@AdoptionApology@AdultAdopteeMov@itvnews The media needs to acknowledge that this still happens in current adoptions nothing has not changed. Referring to it as historical does not help Too many of us living with the consequences A few changes would make a big difference but no one wants to have an honest conversation
@SarahCorkerNews We don’t need pity We need the law to recognise adoptees are not commodities. Adoptees are the real victims in this. We have no voice, no choice and no rights.
@SarahCorkerNews It’s time we started reporting what is needed for effective change.Current adoptees still issued with short form birth certificate which is immoral if not https://t.co/OZWb4ArmND might be an inconvenient truth but needs to be challenged. We need to be able to revoke our adoptions
@ThisisDavina @cactus__mother Many forced adoptees do not have their records - often files have been ‘lost’ in the cover up , all of which you profiteer from with your long lost family porn - shame on you @ThisisDavina@NickyAACampbell
If you ask a group of adoptees about their lived experience - don’t say „it wasn’t like that for everyone“ Have you spoken to everyone? Probably not. Try reading the JCHR report before making out we are in the minority. #adopteetwitter https://t.co/pf2Hbq9cUe
@AlisonMoyet It’s not Just Edinburgh University - many other students are facing unclassified degrees due to the strike. These students need a break - A levels affected by Covid online lectures due to Covid and now exams and dissertations not being marked Absolutely shameful
If you're an #adoptee ⚠️over 18 living in UK & you complete the NHS @ukfuturehealth survey incl Q's on adoption (regardless of if you give blood or not) you will make it possible to identify the health impacts of #ADOPTION 🥰 https://t.co/c06lH52kGk
@ukfuturehealth This is the first time I have ever seen a tickbox for adoptees. As a co-founder of @AdultAdopteeMov we are campaigning to remove the discrimination faced by adoptees when accessing healthcare. Would be great to set up a chat with you to learn more about the project!
Still waiting for a reply from @NeilDotObrien Scottish and Welsh MPs are all shocked at the violation of our human rights, but English MPs simply think that things have changed and forget that 500,000 of us are living with consequences of being adopted #adopteetwitter
Let's make our voices heard. 📩 Take action today! Email your MPs & let them know your concerns & expectations. Don't forget to tag us on social media once you've hit send. Together, we can create change! 🙌💡

Looking forward to our first book club event with @Anstey_Harris I need to catch up on my reading though, When I First Held You was packed in my bag for holiday reading - but the glorious weather in Wester Ross has hampered progress, and its not often you get to say that!
It's a long (& wet!) weekend in the UK which might mean you have some time for reading. This is an emotive subject so we are taking it quite slowly and pausing for a break when needed.
You can book a ticket for our book club with author @Anstey_Harris at https://t.co/EiSYjJNzY0
@KarinIssberner Let me know if it works with your bio parents names! I found it so triggering having to have my adoptive fathers name on my ESTA Application, another example of how we can never break free. Good luck 🙂
