Went to the GP to have blood tests done. Of course the GP doesn't take bloods. Referred to the practice phlebotomist. €65. Phlebotomist €35. Now I have to pay another €45 to have the results read to me over the phone. C'mon general practice - €145 for blood tests??

I'm flying to an important family reunion in Mexico in 15 days. There's a 3 hour stopover in Atlanta. US customs won't let me stopover without a visa. I overstayed by 8 days 26 years ago. No visa appointment for 20+ days. No way around it. Anyone able to advise or help?
