This is a horrendous situation and disturbing thread to read. My thoughts with Jane, Cat and her family.

Sadly other than potential legal action it's very tough to know what can be done. It is possible to try to raise emergency situation with Ombudsman but that's unlikely to resolve much at the speed needed.

Hopefully the publicity a situation like this can and should get will put pressure on the insurer to review its decision.

Male, Old English Bulldog aged 11 months.
Reggie is a lovely boy who came to us through no fault of his own. Unfortunately reggie was born deaf and is now going blind but has adapted well. He loves cuddles and will try to sit on your lap and loves to play. He is a big boy who is not aware of his size and due to his sight loss can run into people and things as he cant judge the distance.
Reggie loves to play with a light up ball as he can see it better and knows basic commands such as putting your palm in his face for him to sit. He is strong on the lead and despite his hearing/sight loss there is space for him to learn. He is good with dogs but can be over friendly so he is best off the only pet for now. - Last Chance Rescue.
