#WhyIamAntiWar : because War is the ultimate waste of Society’s most productive men,it’s most necessary resources, and countless lives on both sides of the conflict. There is no return on investment from War for Society only the State and it’s cronies.
BREAKING: Iran's IRGC is now threatening to completely cut off the world's internet, with spokesman Hossein Mohebi saying seven major cables run under the Strait of Hormuz that global data depends on, warning: "we are reminding them of this so that the enemy knows," per Fars News.
The threat follows Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf's announcement of a "Persian Gulf Data Authority" and SNSC Secretary Mohsen Rezaee's warning that over $2 trillion in data centers would be destroyed if war resumes.
The significance is the target itself. These cables carry roughly 99% of intercontinental data and trillions in daily financial transactions. A successful strike could wipe out 70% to 90% of the Gulf's internet connectivity, crippling global commerce. Iran is making it clear: if the US strikes its energy infrastructure, the next target will be the digital backbone of the global economy.
BREAKING: Donald Trump is now considering a new attack plan directed at the nerve center of Iran's oil industry, with the U.S. president discussing options with senior advisers, Pentagon officials and the CIA to strike Kharg Island — the terminal handling roughly 90% of Iran's crude exports and holding about 30 million barrels in storage capacity, per a UAE-based Erem News report cited by Israel Hayom.
The proposed options include strikes on oil tanks, pipelines, tanker loading facilities and military sites on the island, aimed at forcing Tehran to abandon its preconditions and accept negotiations on the nuclear program and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz before the November 3 midterms.
Kharg is the single point through which nearly all of Iran's oil revenue flows. If Washington strikes it, the war stops being about the Strait of Hormuz and becomes about cutting Iran's economic lifeline entirely — and Iran has already promised to burn the Gulf's energy infrastructure in return.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf already warned : "If our security is not ensured, no infrastructure will be safe," and "in a region where Iran cannot sell oil, nobody will sell oil.”
BREAKING: US Embassies across the entire Middle East, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, the UAE, Yemen and Iran have all just issued new security alerts, warning all Americans of severe flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions amid risk of sudden escalation in Yemen and Iran.
The alert warns that the situation has "the potential to escalate rapidly beyond that immediate area."
@DanielLDavis1 The EU is also desperately trying to gin up an excuse to keep the billions in Russian money it seized. If the war ends will they return it?
BREAKING: Ukraine has launched a "massive aerial attack," consisting of over 1,000 drones, striking a major oil terminal in Russia.
The attack comes exactly 7 days after President Trump said Ukraine and Russia had agreed to an "energy ceasefire."
Following the announcement, Ukraine's President Zelensky quickly stated that he was unaware of such a ceasefire.
This comes after President Trump asked Ukraine several times to refrain from strikes on energy infrastructure due to surging US diesel prices, which are up over +80% since January.
Oil markets will reopen in 9 hours.
MapQuest now shows you Flock and other license plate reader cameras on your route
-----
MapQuest, the original software to find your way from point A to point B, is taking on the surveillance state.
The free mapping service unveiled a new feature in its mobile app on Thursday that lets users turn on a "surveillance layer" to locate known automated license plate readers, or ALPRs, along their route.
MapQuest says the app can identify cameras developed by Flock Safety, Axon Enterprise, Motorola Solutions, and PlateSmart, among others.
"The Roads Have Eyes!" the company said in its BlueSky post announcing the new feature.
NEW: The Trump administration is proposing that Europe resume buying Russian gas as part of a Ukraine peace deal, offering Moscow billions in revenue and renewed economic influence.
Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff have discussed restarting Russian gas pipelines through Ukraine and potentially Nord Stream. U.S. investors could also receive a share of the profits.
Germany strongly opposes the proposal, warning that renewed dependence on Russian energy would threaten European security. However, the AfD supports restoring imports to lower energy prices.

TWENTY BILLION DOLLARS IN RUSSIAN OIL ASSETS AND GUESS WHOSE FRIENDS ARE FIRST IN LINE
Lukoil is selling off its international empire. Oil fields. Refineries. Gas stations spanning the globe. Valued at twenty billion dollars
Who's bidding. A guy named Todd Boehly who personally handed Trump's political operation two million dollars
Standing next to him. Investors out of Abu Dhabi controlled by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed
The same sheikh who just bought a massive stake in Steve Witkoff's company. Witkoff. Trump's handpicked envoy supposedly negotiating peace, not profit
Then there's Kushner and Ivanka Trump. Business partners with the Qatari al-Khayyat brothers. The same brothers circling this exact deal
Donald Trump waives sanctions on Russia days before they take effect. No explanation given to the public. None
And the people positioned to cash in on that exact decision are his son-in-law's business partners, his envoy's new investor, and a two-million-dollar donor
Ukraine loses territory and leverage. Americans lose a law their own Congress passed to choke Putin's war machine
Mitch McConnell objects. Susan Collins objects. Republicans objects. Doesn't matter. Trump signs it anyway
Putin's own envoy is on Telegram calling this a historic moment. He's not wrong. Historic for who gets rich
Frozen Russian reserves. Pipeline access. Investment projects. All of it opening up right as Trump's inner circle lines up at the door
This isn't foreign policy. This is a liquidation sale with Trump's family and friends holding the only invitations
And every ordinary American paying more at the pump gets to watch Trump's in-laws get richer off the deal that caused it
Remember this the next time they tell you sanctions relief is about diesel prices

🚨What message does this send to every Tennessee landowner who might fire a shot on their own property?
A Monroe County, TN man, Zebulon Trevor Passmore, was on his own property when he fired his handgun into the ground to scare chickens toward the coop.
His neighbor Kelley McDonald heard the shots and called the sheriff.
Deputies showed up and came onto his property to confront him.
Deputy Brian Emberton disarmed him over his objection.
They demanded ID, and deputy Rachel Meyer arrested him when he refused.
Tennessee has no general stop-and-identify law.
No crime was suspected from the shots.
He was charged with "failure to identify".
Charges were later dismissed. He’s now suing the deputies and the county.
Bodycam of the exchange says it all.
❓Why did the deputies escalate a non-criminal situation into an arrest instead of simply documenting the call and leaving?
❓Why does a neighbor’s call about gunshots automatically override a man’s right to be armed on his own land?
❓Did the deputies completely overstep their authority or was taking the gun off his hip allowed for "officer safety"?
