I just don’t understand how companies can somehow suggest that putting more plastic microfibers into the world is somehow a good thing if they’re sourced from RECYCLED plastic. 🤣 here take a swig of this poison! I made it from sustainably-sourced toxic chemicals! #EarthDay2022🤷‍♂️

The way so many businesses operate their first level of direct customer communication nowadays is truly ludicrous. I call with some questions to find out preliminary information before I make an appointment, and the receptionist completely ignores my question and starts plowing

through her own line of questions to cram me into their automated treadmill to schedule an appointment for me. Then when I protest that they haven’t answered the question that I started with they get an attitude, double down on not answering my questions, and won’t apologize

Here's the clearest reason why @shaylekann and I were talking about #plastic on the most recent @CatalystPod. Plastic volumes doubling every dozen years with no end in sight. Biggest part is single-use packaging, discarded within months.
