@wolfejosh the US is making the push to drones to counter the current war asymmetry. Problem is is that those drones are powered by a Li-ion supply chain that runs straight through China. We’re fixing that with a US made battery to 3x the range of drones. Let me know if you want to learn more

Yeah it’s crazy but I also get it from a throughput perspective which is why aerospace uses them a lot because the expensive parts are still worth it. I think the real unlock for mass production is either having a lot of automated CNC mills like you have or designing parts to be make with simpler processes.
