@S_Mikhailovich @vtchakarova There might be some French in the Drôme who violently disagree with that. They held out till 1944. But also, to qualify by the word scale diminishes the price paid by those that resisted, even at village level.

[Dayne Kells ❌ @DayneKells]

@S_Mikhailovich @vtchakarova This is twisting partial facts to make a story which diminishes the tremendous sacrifices made by many Norwegians, French, Greeks etc to fight the Axis any way they could.

The vaccine–autism myth started with one 1998 paper of 12 children.

It was retracted, the author was struck off for dishonesty, and studies of millions of kids since have found no link.

One fraud vs. millions of children

You're being sold "ancestral wellness" by someone who'd have died at 34 of an infected tooth.

@HedgeDirty Someone once told me a payment to a Politician only pays for services in the past, in reality it's a liability not an asset going forward with expectations of more.

@ExnerPirot Findings that China is at a minimum sponsoring bot farms pushing Data centre opposition should come as a warning that Cognitive warfare is real and has an influence on all Political views. Some are just more susceptible.

Olhem para essa foto de 1890. Whitechapel Workhouse, Londres. A mesma rua onde Jack, o Estripador, ainda esquentava a memória coletiva.

O trabalho do dia: oakum. A pele queima.

Why so little faith in the ability of Canadian dairy producers to innovate and compete?

1) After New Zealand dropped supply management in 1985, production and exports surged. They increased the value of dairy exports by ~600% over the next 20 years. NZ went from a small, stagnant, domestic dairy industry to a major global exporter. https://t.co/UB0HFDCWJd

2) Something similar happened in Australia following their end of supply management in 2000, with production and exports increasing, and domestic prices dropping. https://t.co/9KhN1PFAcg

3) Canadian wine producers also predicted a catastrophe with the elimination of tariff protection in the 1988 Canada-US Free Trade Agreement. But the new competition from the US forced low quality, high volume producers of plonk out of business, while incenting farmers to switch to high quality varietals. Both the quantity and quality of Canadian wine increased massively, while consumers also benefited from more choice. https://t.co/kM58LPQx3h
