Ribuan Kanak kanak Gaza kini dilaporkan mengalami kemurungan dan tidak lagi mahu bercakap kerana mereka mengalami trauma mental yang teruk disebabkan Genocide selama 2 tahun di Gaza

Ini berdasarkan laporan Program Kesihatan Mental Komuniti Gaza GCMHP. Bahawa ribuan kanak kanak mengalami Traumatik Mutism di mana kanak-kanak boleh berkata kata tetapi bahasa dan perkataan mereka terperangkap dalam ketakutan, kejutan dan perasaan meratapi dan bersedih

Ada di antaranya menunjukkan simptom kronik seperti mimpi ngeri setiap kali tidur. Terlalu sensitif dgn bunyi bising, kencing dalam seluar setiap kali tidur dan tak mahu berkata apa apa walaupun tiada kecederaan fizikal pada suara vokal mereka. Perkara ini bukan sahaja berlaku pada kanak kanak muda tetapi turut kepada yang lebih berusia

Pihak Kementerian Kesihatan Gaza berusaha untuk memberi terapi psikologi kepada mereka namun diganggu dengan bekalan elektrik dan komunikasi terputus serta pengeboman berterusan

Lebih separuh kanak kanak Gaza kini menghidap PTSS dengan pakar kesihatan mental menyatakan keruntuhan emosi dan bahasa mengancam untuk menyebabkan seluruh generasi Gaza menjadi bisu nanti
