We sincerely thank all the fans who have consistently shown their love and support for Kwon Yuri.
After extensive and thoughtful discussions with Kwon Yuri, we have mutually agreed to conclude our 19-year journey together as of August 31.
Since her debut as a member of Girls' Generation in 2007, Kwon Yuri has helped lead the global KPop wave and grown into a representative artist of her generation. It has been an honor and a privilege for SM Entertainment to accompany her throughout that remarkable journey, including her successful career as an actress.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Kwon Yuri for her outstanding achievements as an all around artist excelling across music, acting, variety shows, and hosting.
Although the exclusive contract has come to an end, Yuri's activity as Girls' Generation will continue as before without any changes.

The S&P 500 dropped -1% in the first 2.5 hours after the market opened, wiping out nearly $670 billion.
Then it suddenly reversed.
Over the next hour, it jumped +0.55% and added back around $370 billion.
After the Fed announced no rate change, it surged another +0.94% in the following hour, adding roughly $630 billion.
