@AdarshRai525125 But we can partition the array in any num of non empty multiset, so ofc every element can be mode in some multiset(possibly singleton set). I don't understand how you can apply knapsack here if the array can be divided in different number of subsets or am I missing something

Why was D so damn hard???
Spent 1.5+ hrs just thinking of an approach, nothing clicked.
