In the case of Goku and vegeta, we’ve known they’re always equal so it’s what we go by.

I’ve actually seen some people scale base Goku to vegeta in his red form 😂

@AlphaBenson @CommJulien The toriyama script must’ve been “Vegeta first fights Broly by exhibiting ssj and ssj red, then Goku fights him in ssj, red and blue” and then the storyboard artist filled in the details.

That’s why I say never powerscale scene by scene because they’re not thinking it deeply.

Now it’s just: “I see how you were able to defeat Frieza”

Cause realistically, ssj Goku is so much stronger than Frieza.

@NathanAT03 @BhdAnkur I have good hopes about dbs Beerus. They need however to really clean up black and ToP arcs, cause those have the most work to do.

Black arc needs some story work, like explaining ssj rage & the spirit sword.

ToP arc needs heavy pacing work & should cut many filler eps & fights

@TryingToDoThat I was actually glad they remastered the old super. We get to see how yamamuro db could’ve looked like with time and good compositing. Sure, it’s not shintani or nakatsuru, but it’s still decent watchable product.

Kai was just scared of Babidi’s fighters & would often exaggerate & overestimate their power. This was shown repeatedly, like Vegeta saying even Kibito could’ve beaten Dabura if not for his clumsiness.

Also, Kai was impressed by the SSJs.

Gohan also suggests to Goku that they fight together in base, indicating base Goku couldn’t do it alone.

Kai was only shown being below the SSJs, when Goku threatened to kill him with a ki blast. He wasn’t below the base saiyans.

@parallellivez You do realise that statement is the author’s way of informing u of his intent? Saying its a nothing statement is the equivalent of saying it served no purpose & that the author doesnt know his work

In order for it to be a null statement, there should’ve been a contradicting one
