The SC/ST Alumni of IITs and NITs, some students and academics, have objected to the campaign to shift the onus on the student and protect the accused — Doolla and IIT Bombay director Prof. S.B. Kedare.

In a statement, the alumni said the video footage doing the rounds on social media merely shows a student seated on the first bench being approached by an invigilator, handing over his answer sheet and exiting the hall. “In our assessment, the clip on its own does not clearly show a mobile phone being used or any act of copying,” it said.

Right after the suicide, the faculty published a letter giving a clean chit to Doolla. Then they withdrew the statement, saying they will wait for the investigation. Did they wait? No. They are released CCTV footage. Shouldn’t someone be held responsible? Is the director in control?”

This incident has exposed the casteist mentality of the faculty across the so-called premier institutions. Without any regard for the deceased, they are ready to indulge in character assassination, release statements and footage. Students are right about ‘faculty terrorism on campus’.

On April 19, I wrote a letter to Shri S. Chockalingam, Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra, requesting him to furnish a copy of the order issued by the Chief Election Commissioner of India or by his office regarding the SIR in Maharashtra.

Till this date, I have not received any reply.

We have shared this letter with representatives of the opposition parties.

In an RTI inquiry, the Election Commission said that it has not taken any decision to initiate a SIR of electoral rolls across the country in 2025. 

SIR has so far disenfranchised 13 crore Indians voters!
If the Election Commission had not taken any decision to initiate SIR, who had taken a decision to launch the nationwide SIR?
Where are order the papers?

Should we assume that the BJP-led government took the decision? If not the government, then who?

Only a complete fool would claim that scoring 90% in an entrance exam is what makes someone the best doctor or engineer in the country.
Venkatraman Ramakrishnan failed to clear IIT-JEE yet won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009.
Satya Nadella also failed the IIT entrance and still became the CEO of Microsoft.
Sundar Pichai was not a JEE topper (rank around 1100–1700) but rose to become CEO of Google.

Entrance exams exist mainly because our country lacks enough seats, only high-population nations like India and China create such intense hype around them. In many other countries such as Norway, Sweden, Germany and Canada, students often get direct admission without any high-stakes national entrance exam. Does that mean their doctors and engineers are all useless? Of course not, they are more innovative.

A single exam rank at 17–18 cannot decide lifelong excellence or greatness.
True success comes from continuous effort, learning, and persistence, not just one percentage. 👇🙂

If two students with vastly different ranks are sharing classroom, bench or hostel room, two things are inevitable.

One will feel injustice while the other will feel insecurity.
