TRIBUTE TO DAFROZA MUKARUMONGI-GAUTHIER
Today, we mourn the passing of Dafroza Mukarumongi-Gauthier, a courageous survivor who dedicated her life to the pursuit of truth, justice and accountability for the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
Together with her husband, Alain Gauthier, she tirelessly worked to track those accused of genocide who had fled to France and to ensure that survivors and victims were not forgotten.
Her courage, determination and commitment to justice will remain part of Rwanda’s enduring memory.
May she rest in eternal peace.
