March 6, 1967 - The Purdue Freshman basketball squad defeated the previously unbeaten Northwestern freshmen 103-93. Purdue was led by Rick Mount who blistered the Wildcats for 50 points (21-33 FG) to end the freshman season.
July 1969 - Johnny Neumann, Larry Finch and Mike Vosburgh share a laugh after leading their Tennessee High School West All-Stars to a 101-63 victory over the East All-Stars.
March 30, 1968 - LSU's Pete Maravich #5 pulls up for a jumper as Purdue's Rick Mount trails the play during the East-West College All-Star game held at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
February 3, 1969 - The LSU Tigers scored their third SEC victory with a 95-71 victory over Mississippi State before 7,500 in the Ag Center. All five LSU starters scored in double figures with Pete Maravich scoring 33, Tribbett (18), Hester (17), Jukkola (14), and Ramsden (13).
