SUPERGIRL - An unapologetically flawed superheroine with a cute dog and an emotionally compeling backstory, who is ALSO a feminist hero saving trafficked girls?!? The hero for our time. Film was not perfect but Milly Alcock in this role, sure af was. Eve Ridley also a revelation.
There's a couple scenes I wish were different/bug me, but I think Supergirl's issues stem way more from having a director who isn't a good fit with this kind of material than the screenplay FWIW.

It’s official! We have a trailer date for Tom Cruise and Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s comedy of catastrophic proportions — DIGGER. Trailer drops July 13, with the film only in theaters this October.
fantano discourse is always hard because i think he’s insufferable but there are vanishingly few instances where i think artists “hitting back” at critics isn’t tacky
