@LailaArtistx Congrats and welcome to the list of us fellow survivors. Your life has forever changed for the good and you came out of this looking beautiful. ๐๐ซถ
For those who didnt know context like me, thanks grok - Scott Adams, known for creating the comic strip "Dilbert," has advised avoiding interactions with groups perceived as hostile, a stance that aligns with his previous controversial statements on race relations, such as his 2023 comments suggesting that Black Americans are more racist than white Americans, which led to widespread backlash and the loss of newspaper syndication for "Dilbert." - The post references a recent incident in Cincinnati where a woman was brutally beaten, and the attackers made racist comments, highlighting a real-world scenario that might resonate with Adams' advice, though it also underscores the complexity of such interactions given the racial dynamics involved. - This advice comes amidst a broader context where public discourse on race and safety has been influenced by events like the 2020 George Floyd protests, which saw significant civil unrest, and ongoing debates about crime statistics and racial biases in law enforcement, as evidenced by studies like the 2020 PNAS study on police violence and race.
@TeaSweet11386 @captainjimnoss @GovRonDeSantis Can't wait to see y'all get disappointed by #dysfunctionalDonald as if he can't make thins workโ
I hope #Trump2024 works out since I love my country but my hope for that is down the toilet hole. He wants to lead a country he calls a piece of garbage. He thinks so lowly of us ๐ข
Millions now know the truth about Covid. Andโฆ.nothing.
People are dying because of the vaccines andโฆ.nothing.
The nation knows Russia-collusion was a seditious conspiracy to undermine a legally elected President.
Andโฆnothing.
Itโs now obvious โclimate changeโ & the green movement is a total scam to manipulate & control, isolate us geographically, destroy the natural food supply & starve populations across the globe. Andโฆ.nothing.
Big Tech is working with big govt to undermine every constitutional right we have andโฆ.nothing.
American citizens have been denied their right to a free trial & have been sitting behind bars for years because those in power are abusing the law andโฆ. Nothing.
Really makes you wonder what it will take. Is this how good people lose everything and nations slide into catastrophe and people wonder afterwards, โhow did they let this happen?โ
I so hear you on this one. Tips, in the past, were a gesture to say "thank you for spoiling me and going out of your way to help me even though you have a zillion customers you are taking care of. - you made sure I felt like an important customer. " It was untaxed and extra.
If there was poor service - no tip or a one penny tip.
But - the MANDATED tips - ugh. I have seen where they think people should get 50% tip and then they try to guilt you if you do not do that.
I get that sometimes HUGE parties do not tip and they are extremely demanding and rude.
Not to be quoted - yet, it seems the tipping thing became more of an issue when the IRS decided to stick its nose in and force taxes based upon what they _think_ someone is earning in tips.
Then employers began adjusting wages according to what they assumed the workers made in tips. Then there are the group share tips.
