Hardwired’s Director of Training, @dbouk_zeina, presented at the Middle East School Leadership Conference at the Crowne Plaza - Dubai, sharing the initiatives Hardwired is taking to address challenges to pluralism in the region.

Last week, our Director of Training @dbouk_zeina and President Tina Ramirez facilitated a demo of our training simulation at the 2022 International Religious Freedom Forum in D.C.

The workshop we lead was ranked one of the highest and most interactive at the conference.

The Hardwired and Hammurabi Human Rights Organization teams met briefly this morning before visiting four schools in and around Mosul, where students were performing Hardwired's theatrical play 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.

Today, we visited our Master Trainers in four schools in Mosul to observe their students perform Hardwired's theatrical play, which will spread the lessons of peaceful coexistence and respect for the dignity and freedoms for all people to their greater communities.

We were so grateful to see our Regional Trainer @dbouk_zeina in London while attending the recent Freedom of Religion or Belief Ministerial. We discussed and strategized our education and teacher-training programs.

During last weekend's regional training for trainers, participants reflected on how stereotypes and prejudices about the other can affect our perception, explicit and implicit attitudes, and behavior towards others in cross-cultural contexts. #WeAreALF

During the training, participants also explored three components of intercultural competencies that a trainer should be equipped with. One being attitudes, the second one being knowledge & lastly the skills that promote intercultural citizenship education. #WeAreALF

During this week-ends activity for trainers from all over the #EuroMed, participants reflected on what active participation means for young people. In which areas do youth feel it is important to participate and how can a trainer encourage youth participation? #WeAreALF

Another weekend, another training for trainers!

Last Saturday, educators were briefed on the planning cycle of collaborative intercultural citizenship projects. They also learned how to use the ‘5 Steps Strategic Effectiveness’ methodology. Great projects ahead!
