NEW: New Jersey man who took 10 edibles tries opening the door of an American Airlines flight after getting turned down for s*x with a flight attendant

"Trump 2024," the man was heard saying as he was escorted off the plane.

26-year-old Eric Nicholas Gapco was arrested after refusing to stay seated, asking a flight attendant for s*x, vaping, and trying to open the plane's door multiple times.

The flight was set to go from Seattle to Dallas however the pilots had to emergency land in Salt Lake City, Utah where the man was arrested.

The man reportedly consumed 10 edibles but it's unclear exactly how many mgs of THC he consumed.

Gapco was charged with interference with a flight crew and attempted damage to an aircraft.
