"Northern Angel"
Fun fact - the Angel of the North has enough steel to make 16 double-decker buses! With plenty of research, Sculptor Antony Gormely ensured this structure was built to last and would remain a beacon of the northeast for 100 years to come!
'Bridge Over the Tyne'.
"Sharing the same design as the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, this steel and granite bridge was opened in 1928 by King George V to help with the increasing amount of motorised vehicles crossing the Tyne. A true beacon of the Toon!" -Dan.
Lightkeeper's Climb'
"Took a trip to St. Mary's Lighthouse this week and whilst the weather was a bit grim for photos, it allowed me to mess around with some black and white shots. I love the way the black tones of the stairs and foliage contrast the rest of the image and really help to guide the viewer's eyes up toward the lighthouse" -DC
