Midwesterner trying to ask someone for a favor: hey could you help me with this thing? Absolutely no pressure though. Totally ok if you can't. If you'd rather run me over with a car that's alright. Do you hate me?

House just approved abortion ban 62-38.
It goes to Senate, which can take a vote today to accept the changes (a concurrence) or send it to conference committee for a compromise.
They can try the concurrence vote first. A defeat doesn't kill the bill.
IN state Rep. Engleman (R) introduces an amendment to eliminate rape and incest exceptions in the new anti-abortion bill. Rep. Fleming (D) asks if that would prevent a 5th grader (10-year-old) rape victim from getting abortion care.
Engelman sighs: "It... It does."
The fact that in Indiana Senate Republicans just voted down an amendment to guarantee access to contraception shows that this discussion is not primarily about reducing abortions
Because guaranteeing access to contraception has been proven to do that

@UPS why is it so hard to read the box and not put the box on the side that it is not supposed to go on. Twice in a week! Seriously this lack of attention is expensive and ridiculous!
And lessons in civility and kindness. Getting things accomplished in government or any facet in life does not come with the unabashed license to be rude and disparaging to the people who are working hard for the people at large.
