climate change is altering the geographic range and distribution of mosquito vectors — we will see more and more mosquito-borne disease if we do not act quickly to mitigate both climate change and vector populations!
Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce the beta release of GeoSeeq, revolutionizing pandemic early warning & microbial genomics. Get ready to unlock a new era of global health protection! #GeoSeeqBeta#PublicHealth#Genomics

Raise complete! Excited to announce that @BiotiaNYC has completed our Series A round (oversubscribed) with $8M in financing that will lead to a big expansion of our informatics, clinical, and diagnostic teams https://t.co/VvqWZOV8CF @Niamh_Oh@dcdanko@NagySzakal
We are thrilled to share that Biotia has joined Mayo Clinic Platform Accelerate. We look forward to pushing the frontiers of infectious disease diagnostics together, @MayoPlatform!
I am elated to share that our COVID-seq hybrid capture and clade assignment test from @BiotiaNYC & @TwistBioscience now has an EUA from @US_FDA! Our diagnostic assay can guide therapy selection and track viral variants https://t.co/tdx9gQ1vLW bravo @dcdanko@NagySzakal@Niamh_Oh
Our new paper is out! "Sequencing of Circulating Microbial Cell-Free DNA Can Identify Pathogens in Periprosthetic Joint Infections." https://t.co/wWPvQ1cpE0 with amazing work from from @Donlinlab, @dcdanko and many great colleagues at @HSpecialSurgery@WeillCornell & @KariusInc
From a massive project with data from 60 cities:
Each city has its own microbial signature from air & surface samples. A core set of microbes across cities exists, too.

@pathogenomenick Yes and no. We can id characteristics (altitude, population, proximity to coast, etc) of cities not in our training set and people like @EranElhaik are pushing the bounds of what we can do.
Just published @CellCellPress
