🧵Here are the 5 Types of Devs You’ll Meet – Which One Are You? 👀👇

1. The Big Picture Architect 🏗️
Doesn’t just code, they engineer solutions.
· Builds the entire program in their head before touching the keyboard.
· Loves UML diagrams, implementation docs, and flowcharts before writing a single line.
· Can explain their approach for hours but might not have actually written the code yet.

❗️Reality check: They deliver clean, scalable code eventually... after 2 whiteboards, 3 docs, and a TED Talk. 😌

2. The "Dora the Explorer" Dev 🧭
Jumps into the code head-first with no plan but just vibes.
· Breaks things, fixes them, breaks them again.
· Best friends with Stack Overflow and ChatGPT.
· Searches: "Why isn’t this working?" → "Why is this now working?" → "Should I be worried?"
· Somehow ships code that works (but doesn’t always know how).

Debugging method: "Let me just add some print statements and see."
❗️Reality check: It works, but at what cost? 😵‍💫

3. The “Just One More Tutorial” Dev 📚
· "I'll start coding right after this last YouTube tutorial…"
· Has 47 Chrome tabs open (Medium, Dev. to, Docs, and Stack Overflow).
· Knows everything about the topic but hasn’t written a single line of code.
· Loves to plan their learning roadmap but struggles to start.

Tutorial purgatory: "Should I follow the YouTube video or read the docs first?"
❗️Reality check: Learning is great, but at some point, you gotta write the code. 😅

4. The Copy-Paste Wizard 🪄
· GitHub is their treasure map.
· Runs someone else’s code before reading how it works.
· "Why reinvent the wheel when someone already built this?" 🤷🏾‍♂️
· Loves modifying existing solutions instead of starting from scratch.
· Best at debugging Stack Overflow answers to make them work.
“Wait… where did I copy this from again?” 😵
❗️ Reality check: Works 70% of the time, but when it breaks… good luck. 😭

5. The "Collaboration Above Competition" Dev 🗣️
Solves bugs by talking through them.
· "Let me explain how this works… oh wait, I see the bug now!"
· Loves pair programming & rubber duck debugging.
· Always teaching others, even if they just learned it 10 minutes ago.
· "Bro, hear me out… what if we just refactor the whole thing?" 🤯

❗️Reality check: Talking helps, but sometimes, ya gotta code too! 😂

In Web3, security comes from validation. Every audit your code receives whether direct or indirect builds trust and safety. This is why seasoned developers always check for existing audited implementations before building new features. That's a smart way to leverage years of security, research and real-world validation.

Security is non-negotiable in Web3, because a single vulnerability can lead to devastating losses.
