India lost the match here
So many give credit to Tilak Varma for Asia Cup Final
- But it was Shivam Dube who won the match for India
- Tilak Varma was playing test inning that day also
Shivam Dube finished the match with his sixes
- But Talk Varma had a better PR
She is Dr Vatsala Agarwal.
In August last year, she was appointed Director General Health Services of Delhi. She wasted no time and immediately started buying medicines and equipments at highly inflated rates by allegedly manipulating the tender processes, misusing hundreds of crores in public funds. By the time the Delhi police arrested her today, she had already allegedly created a health scam worth 600 crores.
Almost everyone in govt service, from top to bottom, seems to make massive money whenever an opportunity arises. Imagine the scale of systemic corruption if a single official can siphon off 600 crore rupees in less than a year. And it's not like she was honest for her 30 years of service till now, and suddenly turned corrupt; she only got caught now. Her life long scam would be much more than 600 crores.
It is truly surprising that India continues to grow despite such staggering leaks in the system.
Recently, self-declared cockroach Sonam Wangchuk received a 5-year visa to Switzerland, and that too free of cost as a gift from the Swiss Embassy.
After spending a few days in Switzerland, he will now start a hunger strike!
But the deep state is a conspiracy theory!
Landing in Geneva, one is reminded how quick we are to romanticise “the West” and run down our own systems in India.
Geneva is beautiful, efficient in many ways, no doubt. But at the airport? No lifts or elevators where you’d expect them, confusing baggage belts, barely any signage or help.
A lady with crutches had to hobble down the stairs because there was no elevator!
It made me think of our own airports — from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Rajabhoj International Airport, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and Jolly Grant Airport — where navigation, accessibility, and passenger support are so great . Such amazing service and aliveness !
We in India often complain endlessly about how bad things are at home and how “great” “abroad” is. Travel teaches the opposite too: every system has its flaws. And sometimes, back home, we are doing far better than we give ourselves credit for.

THIS IS THE JUDICIAL REALITY INDIA AVOIDS 🔥
RAJ: Do powerful people have an advantage in court?
DY CHANDRACHUD: The danger in our system is that rich clients get the best lawyers and compete for judicial time.
RAJ: What does that do to justice?
DY CHANDRACHUD 🎯: A person who does not want the other side to get justice can use every trick to delay justice. That is one of the failures of our system.
Chapris who drove their cars in sensitive lakes in Ladakh fined 50,000 each. The cars were from HP, UP, Chandigarh & Punjab. Total fines on all 4 cars - 2 Lakh
Good work by Ladakh administration.
Mumbai is witnessing yet another decision that raises serious questions about the priorities of the BMC.
The proposal to remove the reservation of the Neville D’Souza Football Ground and replace it with a convention centre is deeply disappointing. At a time when Mumbai suffers from an acute shortage of playgrounds and open spaces, why is one of the city’s few dedicated football grounds being sacrificed instead of being protected and strengthened?
This is not merely about one football ground. It is about the future of public spaces in Mumbai. Every time an open space is converted into another form of development, the people lose while commercial interests gain.
The BMC claims this is for public infrastructure. But the larger question remains: Who truly benefits from such decisions? Citizens who need playgrounds, children who need sports facilities, and local football clubs certainly do not.
Mumbai needs more playgrounds, more parks, and more sporting infrastructure—not fewer.
The civic administration must explain why preserving public recreational spaces is no longer a priority. Citizens also deserve assurances that this reservation change will not eventually pave the way for commercial or private real estate interests in the future.
Mumbai belongs to its people—not to those who see every piece of public land as an opportunity for development.
Delhi: Speeding Mahindra Thar kills 34-year-old Sarthak Mattoo on Rajokri FlyoverDriver Apurva Singh, 30, detained.
Heartbreaking footage shows family mourning with victim's shattered helmet.
Should psychometric assessment of people who buy SUVs, especially Thar be made compulsory?
The only solution for E20 petrol is either to give Gadkariji's son a stake in Reliance oil or open a EV factory for him.
Else I don't see no other hope.
Or we can just pay a billion dollars a year as a ransom to sons.
INDIA’S ETHANOL PUSH FACES HURDLES AS AUTOMAKERS, CONSUMERS, EXPERTS REMAIN CAUTIOUS
India’s ethanol-blending strategy is encountering resistance, with automakers adopting a cautious approach to flex-fuel vehicle rollout, consumers expressing concerns over costs and compatibility, and experts questioning the long-term economic and environmental benefits despite the government’s push to reduce fuel imports and emissions.
His name is Sarthak Goswami, and I believe the entire country needs to watch his reporting, understand it, and become more aware. If this isn't stopped now, it may never be stopped.
This video gives you an idea of how dangerous ethanol factories can be. Not only that, producing ethanol also consumes a huge amount of water, as many of you may already know.
The Ethanol Minister seems to be prioritizing personal interests over the risks of pollution and worsening water shortages. Across the country, many people oppose ethanol blending—except, it seems, the Ethanol Minister
and his son.
