Position still available- we are a community in need. Lots of patients simply won’t travel several hours for care. Would love to chat with anyone interested. <2 hours to Bloomington too! On 11/30 post full clinic I’ll make tip-off IU-UNC. We’re so close to so much!
Evansville was a WWII manufacturing hub. Was actually a potential German bombing target. The LST landing craft used in D day made here, still displayed on the river front.
@SPuro88 It’s a tough conversation for sure. Reading Being Mortal by Atul Gawande has really helped me frame these and other conversations centered around length of quality life remaining
Discussing with 88M today what we should do about his inappropriately drawn PSA of 22. “Listen at my age I don’t even buy green bananas.” Thank you sir that’s all I needed to hear and I will now be using this phrase in all of these talks moving forward.
@alextatem Agree with presenting IPP as option at initial visit. But ICI a great litmus test re: patient motivation. If they try once and don’t like it move on with IPP. Helps manage patient expectations. Most would try steroid injection before hip/knee replacement.
