But to your point, Bishop Strickland (who in point of fact is a bishop of the Roman Catholic Church, in good standing, with all the responsibilities, rights and privileges of that office as a bishop emeritus. Hasn’t been excommunicated.

@PillarCatholic you might consider the Diocese of Tyler in TX as a place to move. Plenty of dirt, low cost of living. Decent (better than decent) bishop. Could do worse.

@clericalpod , I took a defensive driving course when a rep for a med. device co. One thing it taught was that most minor collisions happens when backing *out* of a parking space. Taking time to back in makes it safer to pull out. Plus, auto pkng systems on cars back it in.

@villagranj @LittleWayAllDay No. Millions (100’s of millions, actually) follow the Church, led by Christ. We all obey those things the Pope and the Magisterium of the Church teach. But nobody “follows the Pope”. If I “follow” anyone, it’s *my* bishop, head of my particular Church. Your ecclesiology is off.
