My 5yo tested positive for COVID and her class is going into quarantine - she is the 3rd positive case since Friday. 8 days in. Feeling the grief for teachers, staff, and families who have hoped so hard for this to work.
Admin still triflin. Staff person at MLK tested positive for COVID. All fully-vaxxed staff told to continue coming into work per usual. No testing required?? We are still in a pandemic??
I asked a friend if we could reschedule a meeting because I was feeling overwhelmed with work.
They said "100%. Thank you for setting that boundary!!"
And that is just what I needed to hear.
More of this. Be good to each other.
@Slick_1999 Arbitrarily required everyone to come on site at least 3 days per week during pandemic. Increased to 5 days per week since mask mandate lifted. No pods, regular pre-pandemic rotations.
