I think they are trying to protect her and keep her as long as possible. If they showcase her in a live game, then she becomes an acquisition target by other teams sooner. If someone gets hurt on the Fever in the meantime they have someone who has been practicing with the team and can slide in to the lineup. Just my 2-cents.
