Cristopher Sanchez has broken the all-time Major League Baseball record for most consecutive scoreless innings from a left-handed pitcher.
Carl Hubbell held the record in 1933 with 45.1. Sanchez, after the first inning of tonight’s game, is at 45.2 consecutive scoreless innings.
@Arkema is proud to be made up of people from all walks of life—people who drive innovation in our plants and offices while accomplishing incredible things in their own time.
Joe Harris, Plant Manager of Arkema’s Paulsboro location, is no exception. When he’s not helping Arkema reach key goals for Adhesive Solutions, Joe is an accomplished upright bass player who often performs with jazz trios. He’s also a member of the Quaker City String Band, a troupe that performs every year in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. This year, the Quaker City String Band took home first place in the annual competition.
Congratulations to Quaker City and Joe on this amazing achievement!
@CoconnellFox29@CrossingBroad Yes. I first learned of him from Philly Mag. He was a great writer and a good sport. He played in several of the flag football games I organized. This makes me sad.
Based on the number of times I’ve flown and had to inform someone they are in the wrong seat, our schools are doing a real bad job of teaching the alphabet and how to count. @united@AmericanAir
Power 4 teams don’t get to say Group of 5 teams aren’t worthy of them while also playing those teams in the regular season to pad their win totals.
Stop playing them and only play other P4 teams. #CFBPlayoff
Why can’t conference championship weekend also serve as a quasi play-in game weekend? Bubble teams not playing like ND, Miami, Utah, Texas, Vandy could each play a game against one of the other bubble teams at pre-determined neutral sites. Win and you’re in. #CollegeFootball
So if there are eight locks, then the remaining four spots would be determined from eight other bubble teams with the four winners advancing.
It would be a ratings bonanza for TV and maybe quell some the nonsense with the process now. #collegefootball
An MLB cameraman can't see the cat at all, but he can perfectly determine the cat's current location just by looking at the crowd.
He's so professional!
I will never understand coaches calling a last timeout after a free throw or made basket with 15-20 seconds left. Save that last TO after you get across half court to set something up or bail your team out if something goes wrong.

@SethDavisHoops Bigger issue is Colorado St did everything right defensively. They forced a very tough shot. But you punish that great defense by allowing the offensive player break the rule. That third step allowed him to get balance and side step a defender.
