Biker, skier, married 40 years father of 2 great boys, from Colorado, spending time in Germany where my wife works, now a pals in the fight for all pals lives.
#ALS is prevalent among #Veterans - the @US_FDA is holding #NurOwn after passing phase3 trials- WHY? SAVE OUR VETERANS! They deserve to LIVE. ALS is treatable w/ NurOwn, its 100% FATAL w/o NurOwn. Haven't they paid a big enough price already? INHUMANE! VETS deserve better!
Odd side effect of having ALS/a currently terminal illness: I went from being a 35 year old blissfully unaware of his health care plan to being a 40 year old viscerally aware of every plan nuance and just how important the ACA’s protections are for tens of millions.
@realDonaldTrump@POTUS@VP@als_now@FLOTUS Trump says “he had to get Covid for the people” and he got treatment.ALS patients didn’t ask for ALS, they were just unlucky to get it. So why don’t you allow and sign an executive order for treatments? NurOwn & Tregs. Show us you care
2 ALS patients have more than 75k followers—they won a Congressional Gold Medal (@SteveGleason) and were named to Times’ 100 list (@AdyBarkan).
Me, I’m a random father of 2 trying to end ALS. So I have a favor to ask—can you help me become # 3 and help us win this fight?
It’s Rivalry Ride Day! Sadly, No football — and riders may be fewer this year due to COVID-19, but our enthusiasm and determination to defeat ALS is as strong as ever...

Dear Congress,
This is me👇Three years into my ALS fight. Against all odds I’m still standing. But ALS is relentless. So I need you to be as well. Sign on to and support H.R. 7071, ACT for ALS. It’s time to finally do right by those with ALS. It’s time to #ACTforALS.

I hope that when I breathe my last breath, whenever that may be, that someone, somewhere will write that through his fight with ALS he inspired us to dream of what could be and then to take action to make that better, brighter world real for all.
I had a dream last night that I was walking down the beach next to @SteveGleason and @AdyBarkan. Just three guys walking. I looked down at our arms and on our left forearm we each had tattooed the words, “We did it. ALS, You Gone.”
Good night moon.
