As a high school principal, I know that our post-secondary bound kids work very hard every day, and don't need to 'earn' the right to attend high school for free. Should post secondary be any different? We need professionals from all backgrounds.

If we average scores from assignments over the course of the term to calculate final grades, we don't value growth.

I don't know a way around that fact.

If a students scores a 50% and then a 90%, they will get a worse grade than a student who got 75% both times.
