@khrysteenah@cityofnormanok Praying it was just a stomach bug then. Specifically because of our at risk population. Also, why wasn’t this sent out in a text or through an emergency text alert. I’m wondering how many people still don’t know
@khrysteenah@cityofnormanok Another question ...why is the McDonald’s open on the Robinson/Porter when the Taco Mayo closed. I don’t see a potable water truck. A reverse osmosis filter is only reliable against ecoli if it has IV light or other form of sterilization
@khrysteenah@cityofnormanok I don’t know what the rate of infection was for that stomach bug. Immune compromised and elderly people would be very vulnerable to it though. I think a high rate of cases would have been in the news.
@khrysteenah@cityofnormanok Who knows? I teach in Moore and there was a bug going around for the last two weeks. Those kids could have visited Norman though. Bought some water tablets to make water potable. I’m going to use them to sterilize water for washing dishes when necessary.
@khrysteenah@cityofnormanok Probably not the order went into effect tonight. E. Coli poisoning usually causes more than just a stomach “bug”. It can put you into renal failure
