I have a radio aid which I use and it’s not possible to also use a microphone for others to hear me, as far as I know. I’m using the microphone on the computer which isn’t as clear as an external mic. Any advice would be hugely appreciated 2/2
Request via DM: Good morning all. I was wondering if any of you can help? Is there a way of streaming audio directly into a cochlear implant whilst also using a microphone. This would be for online meeting etc. 1/2
Please tag any Speech & Language therapy / Teachers of the Deaf groups you know, whose members might be interested in observing an Auditory Verbal therapy session at our free online event on 30th March https://t.co/RN2hgloaIk

Hello! I'm Kate, Kate Rowley. I'm Patrick, Patrick Rosenburg. We are researchers @DCAL_UCL & we're interested in research language comprehension in deaf children, particularly BSL comp. skills & how this relates to English reading skills. We need 300 deaf kids aged 4-18.
Hi! I'm Patrick, Patrick Rosenburg. I work @DCAL_UCL & I'm working on a project with @katerowley0 we are both aiming to finish developing a new assessment - the BSL Sentence Reproduction Task (SRT). We need 3 more people who learnt BSL between 7-11 years.
Working with our partners at @NDCS_UK, @BDA_Deaf and many other BSL GCSE Coalition stakeholders, @BATOD_UK is keen to understand how much interest there is in a BSL GCSE.

“I can’t imagine what will happen to a generation of #deaf children if they’re not getting that Teacher of the Deaf support.”
@AnnJillings tells us why @ClaireCoutinho and @educationgovuk should invest in more Teachers of the Deaf.

Statement on strike accessibility from the NEU:
“We hope you will join us on Wed to take part in the march to Westminster. We will meet on the steps of the BBC at 10.45. We have checked access and have been told there should be BSL interpreters for speeches after the march.“
We know it would only cost 0.1% (£8 million) of the annual high-needs budget to return Teachers of the Deaf to 2011 levels. Yet the UK Government has still not addressed the shortage of Teachers of the Deaf.
Please ask your MP to take action on this: https://t.co/ep0mlVGL1P
