@lukeappleton Well ...it is possible to be a creationist and also hold that the world is millions of years old. It is not a necessity that those two concepts be mutually exclusive.
@owroot Corresponding to "mud season" in New England, when the ground is thawing but the greening has not yet begun, town roads are posted for gross weight limits, frost heaves destroy suspensions as viscous mud lines the undercarriages and the boot soles.
@spencer_askew Lonesome Dove is in my top 5. What a tour de force! Devastatingly bleak, profoundly human, and infused with terrible beauty.
I've recently stated TWHF. I read it in High School but I was too young, it made no impact. I'll keep LD in mind at your suggestion.

@shagbark_hick In his "World Made by Hand" fictional novels, Howard Kunstler explores how humans might reorganize our communitieswhen petroleum is no longer available to drive machines or generate electricity. It is a fascinating thought experiment.
@StrengthEwa That looks like a great low back hinge accessory. I can see it helping deads and squats. My program is purposely very simple but I might work that in somewhere. Very instructive.
@GwartyGwart I took their deal once. Turns out it's not cash. Its electronic gift cards in small amounts. Must pay a fee to get physical card that will still not be accepted by all vendors. Semi rip off. Think twice.
