He highlighted India's expanding progress across critical development indicators, including maternal-child health, nutrition, insurance coverage, women's empowerment, digital access, electricity, drinking water, immunization, and NCDs.

Today, I attended my official appointment at the Turkish Embassy in Pretoria at 11:00 a.m. to renew my Turkish National Identity Card. (TC Kimlik Kartı). An embassy official accepted my application, took it inside, then returned minutes later saying it had been rejected. No written decision. No legal reason. Nothing.
I have been a journalist for 25 years across three continents. My reporting and analyses on Türkiye's human rights record may anger the Turkish government, but my duty is not to please any authority—it is to report the truth.
I call on the Turkish Embassy in Pretoria to provide the legal basis for denying a Turkish citizen a national ID card. Administrative decisions must be transparent and subject to the rule of law.

Visited the Giant Tortoise Enclosure at the Seychelles National Botanical Garden with President Dr. Patrick Herminie.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise, which is native to Seychelles, is among the largest and longest-living species on Earth, with some of them witnessing over two centuries of history.

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise also have an association with the special friendship between India and Seychelles. In 2014, two of them were gifted to the Alipore Zoo in Kolkata. A few years later, Seychelles gifted a few more tortoises to Hyderabad Zoo.
