Madam please give that man some REAL PEACE OF MIND.
AN OPEN EPISTLE TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF SABON GARI CONSTITUENCY
My dear brothers and sisters, elders, youths, party members, supporters, and the good people of Sabon Gari Constituency,
I never intended to write this message, but I owe you the truth.
Over the past months, many of you stood with me, prayed for me, encouraged me, and believed in our shared vision for a better Sabon Gari. Together, we embarked on a journey based on hope, fairness, and the belief that the people's voice should always matter.
As many of you know, I made the choice to step away from my run for the Kaduna State House of Assembly. I did this to protect human lives and bring peace back to our community. The violence during the APC primary process in my ward was heartbreaking, resulting in a tragic loss of life and leaving many injured. After sitting down with my family, my loyal supporters, and our community stakeholders, I knew what I had to do. It was a painful decision to make, but I firmly believe that the safety of our people is far more important than any personal ambition.
Today, however, I cannot remain silent about what many of us witnessed.
For many of us, this political journey did not begin in ADC. We worked tirelessly in SDP. We sacrificed our time, our resources, and our energy. We built relationships across communities and remained committed to the struggle for better leadership.
When we moved to ADC, we did not think twice. We came with our supporters, our structures, our goodwill, and our commitment. We believed ADC would provide a platform where fairness, justice, and internal democracy would thrive.
We worked day and night for the growth of the party.
We travelled from ward to ward.
We met with elders, youths, women, and community leaders.
We spent our hard-earned money.
We invested our time.
We sacrificed our comfort.
Not because anyone promised us anything, but because we believed in the party and in the future of Sabon Gari.
Sadly, after all these sacrifices, many of us were made to feel insignificant in a process we helped to build.
What pains us is not that somebody emerged.
What pains us is that the people were not given the opportunity to decide who should emerge.
The greatest pain is not losing an election.
The greatest pain is being denied the opportunity to participate in a free and fair election.
If the people vote and reject you, you accept it with dignity because that is democracy.
But when the people are denied the opportunity to vote, democracy becomes the victim.
Many members of our party are deeply concerned about the manner in which Senator Suleiman Abdu Kwari was prevented from participating in the process despite being one of the aspirants seeking to contest. Whether one supports him or not, every qualified aspirant deserves a fair opportunity to test his popularity before the people.
Equally troubling are reports from Hanwa Ward and Dogarawa Ward, where many party members insist that no meaningful primary election was conducted. The concerns raised by supporters of Hon. Hassan Rilwan and Engr. Muhammad Usman cannot simply be ignored. Their voices matter. The voices of their supporters matter. The voices of party members in those wards matter.
As democrats, we cannot pretend that all is well when many genuine party members feel excluded from a process that should belong to them.
Even more disturbing are allegations and audio recordings circulating publicly which have raised serious questions about the integrity and transparency of the process. These concerns deserve proper investigation and clarification by the relevant party authorities so that confidence can be restored among party members.
Let me be clear.
This is not about bitterness.
This is not about personal ambition.
This is not about one candidate against another.
This is about justice.
This is about fairness.
This is about protecting the democratic rights of the people of Sabon Gari Constituency and Zone One.
โThis is not democracy, the President shouldnโt be choosing Governor candidate for us. We didnโt do any primaries, they just called and said Tinubu had chosen Abubakar as Bauchi governor candidate.โ
โ ex Minister, Yusuf Tuggar laments, accuses Pres. Tinubu of imposing.
I say Good bye to the murky waters of Nigerian Politics. I no longer belong to any political party and will therefore not vie for any office. However I will continue to support ordinary Nigerians to the best of my ability.
The denial of visa to The Chairman of BUA Abdul Samad Rabiu by the South African Government is an affront to Nigeria. They cannot have billions of dollars investment in our country and treat such a revered figure with rejection and contempt.Xenophobia is escalating from the streets to Governance. Its time to keep aside history and African brotherhood and deal with this matter squarely.

Hon. Bello El-Rufai was asked whether his defection to ADC was ideological.
He replied that it wasnโt ideological, it was purely out of solidarity with his father.
I like the honesty. No kwana kwana
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. A few hours ago, the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas GCON, announced my letter of resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and my formal move to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at plenary. I am now a member of the ADC, and I will be seeking reโelection to continue representing the good people of Kaduna North Federal Constituency on this platform.
I am joined in this new chapter by our respected elder, Hon. Engr. Suleiman Richifa, representing Soba, and my dear brother, Hon. Umar Ajilo, representing Makarfi/Kudan, who both defected from their previous parties to the African Democratic Congress. Together, we are building a home for progressive, peopleโfocused service.
This decision was not taken lightly. As a proud son of Mallam Nasir @elrufai, I am guided by courage, conviction, and the unshakable belief that our people deserve the very best. To the people of Kaduna North: our work continues, and it will not stop. We will never compromise on delivering quality representation. There is still so much to do.
By the grace of God, I will soon announce the ad hoc committee for the Primary Health Care initiative I unveiled last week. We will be equipping Primary Health Care Centres with medical supplies, starting with 1,000 syringes per PHC and other essential items. Phase I begins with two centres: Unguwar Sarki Ward and Badarawa/Malali Ward.
May Allah SWT continue to guide us as we serve the people. And may He bless Nigeria with the best leaders.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai
Member.
