#ULTIMAHORA.
Exciting news from #Bamutakudde! This one I can’t keep it to my self.
As we enter the planting season, I reached out to the Commissioner General of @UgandaPrisons, Can. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija, for support with maize seed for our village.
He generously donated 1 TON of maize seed!
We received the consignment today. Our people are excited and ready to plant. This means food security & income for our community. Thank you CGP for supporting the people of Bamutakudde!
The developments in Dr. Kizza Besigye’s case raise an even more disturbing question: could the obstruction of his chosen legal team be connected to the apparent weaknesses surrounding Andrew Wilson’s evidence?
If Wilson sought out Besigye, facilitated meetings and travel, worked with Ugandan security agencies, and even introduced the assassination proposal himself, then his role deserves the most rigorous cross-examination possible. Add to this the questions surrounding unclear recordings, contradictory dates and the handling of the evidence, and the need for a strong, independent defence becomes even greater.
So why should Besigye be denied the lawyers of his choice at precisely the moment when such extraordinary evidence needs to be challenged?
Could the objective be to weaken his defence and make an otherwise difficult conviction easier to secure against a long-standing political opponent of President Museveni?
These circumstances do not, by themselves, prove that President Museveni, the State and Wilson conspired to frame Besigye. But they certainly raise questions too serious to dismiss.
If the prosecution’s case is genuine, it should welcome the strongest possible defence. Truth does not fear cross-examination.
The question Ugandans should therefore ask is not only whether Besigye is guilty, but whether Wilson uncovered a conspiracy—or whether an operation involving Wilson and state security helped create the very conspiracy now being presented to court.
Justice must investigate the accused, but it must equally investigate the architects of the accusation.
@AnitahAmong @KagutaMuseveni You do not learn. Do you? Perhaps embrace a few weeks of silence before spring back into factory settings. You were boxed in and like on a farm, you thank the farmer for not putting you on the BBQ grill today because the menu tonight is influenced by Dr. @drkasenene science.
During Edgar Lungu’s deeply corrupt and violent regime, despot Museveni dispatched a mercenary of Ugandan intelligence operatives to Zambia, led by Chris Rugari. They arrived wearing the respectable costume of security advisers, set up camp and became involved in the repression of the then opposition, particularly Hakainde Hichilema and his comrades. Rugari coordinated some of the operations against Hichilema. He was also in charge of Ugandan IT operatives brought into the machinery surrounding the disputed 2016 election.
By 2021, though, Zambia had been robbed and mismanaged to exhaustion. Lungu’s politicians and cadres had eaten with such enthusiasm that even the political dining table was beginning to look edible. They were even about to eat each other. Zambians had had enough. The national appetite for nonsense had expired, and no amount of electoral mathematics could persuade a population determined to remove Lungu that two plus two was suddenly seven. An angry crowd surrounded the hotel where Rugari and his colleagues were staying. The men who had arrived in Zambia as sophisticated security operatives suddenly faced the considerably more difficult intelligence assignment of getting themselves out of Zambia. They narrowly escaped and some of these batshitbrained grand intelligence men were smuggled out in a garbage bin.
Imagine arriving as an intelligence expert and departing as municipal waste. All the secrecy, strategy, surveillance and geopolitical importance, only for your final operational requirement to be somebody remembering to stuff long legs and put the lid on properly. They were driven towards Nakonde and escaped into Tanzania. Thus ended that particular expedition in regional statecraft, not with medals at State House, but with the indignity of human beings discovering that a dustbin could become diplomatic transport.
Now, Museveni’s political shadow has appeared around Hichilema again, this time involving an American, Andy Wilson Orlando but the operation did not enjoy a long shelf life. Hichilema moved with extraordinary speed against the people accused of involvement. Once again, Tanzania became the emergency exit. At this rate, Tanzania risks becoming the regional lost-and-found department for political operatives whose assignments in Zambia have developed complications.
The matter becomes even more interesting because these are connected to the same circles that, through Col. Fred Mwesigye, had been lobbying the Zambian government to extradite selected Ugandan exiles like Kakwenza and others, living in Zambia. Hichilema rejected the approach. There is also something intellectually embarrassing about officials who imagine that every neighbouring country must inherit Kampala’s enemies. A Ugandan whom Museveni dislikes does not automatically become Zambia’s criminal. Kampala’s political paranoia is not a regional arrest warrant.
And perhaps that is the lesson these expeditions keep refusing to learn--you can export intelligence officers, political intrigue, money, computers, advisers and all the nincompoops required to operate them but what you cannot export indefinitely is another country’s willingness to tolerate your nincompoopism especially when the return journey may require a garbage bin.

Dear E.D @Buzeki_Sharifah while undertaking some work at Charity Community School in Lusaze, I came across this collection of garbage resulting from the National Cleaning day still piled up on the community road and drainage. Kindly assist save the situation. Thank you.
Well done my brother @BalaamBarugahar. I fully support the campaign. I’m only uncomfortable with the arbitrariness in which it is shrouded. Don’t parade suspects like the former IGP and Nantaba used to do. Use your ministerial position to get systems working. Don’t be overzealous.
How can anyone call the proceedings against Dr @kizzabesigye1 a trial? This is a sickening mockery of justice.
Tomorrow, 13th July 2026, the state's sham trial against Dr KB and his co-accused begins. While Justice Baguma Emmanuel has ordered two witnesses to testify, Dr KB and his co-accused remain completely blindsided, denied access to a single piece of evidence.
Worse still, the state has systematically dismantled Besigye's legal team. Lead counsel Martha Karua was forcefully deported and banned from the country, while @EriasLukwago was abducted, tortured, and is rotting away in prison.
To call this a "speedy trial" perverts the very concept of justice. This is not a court of law; it is state-sponsored theater. When the law is weaponized to crush the innocent, silence becomes complicity. We will not look away.
