@DannyLimanseta having a lot of fun w/Cook the Dungeon. One suggestion: an additional, optional UX for playing cards in combat that is more accessible/keyboard friendly - something like pressing 1-9 to select the card based on its order in your hand, and then either pressing the key again to play the card if no target needed, or clicking target to play that card on it, saving the back and forth.
I'm playing on a trackpad right now and this would be combat a lot faster and more enjoyable
@kylerblue FWIW I have been really enjoying the Wavedash posts/game previews. I haven't had much time to play (yet), but love the no nonsense approach.
Looking forward to seeing the cool stuff Wavedash does in the future!
@kylerblue I think Danny put it very well. Wavedash feels like the only polished platform for web-based games that has a nice wrapper around the games themselves that people have come to expect.
we get asked a lot, why AI & games?
I love games
Some test strategy, others humor, speed, trust.
Simple rules lead to the craziest situations.
There's nowhere to hide, will you win or lose?
To win any game you need to be right, often.
AI is entering its rebellious teen era
It's now extremely capable, but lacking:
Judgement 〜 to wield that power responsibly
Wisdom 〜 to know when it's mistaken
Trust 〜 built through reliability and understanding
Games will help us measure and improve those capabilities.
They'll put what AI can do on display; in a human, interpretable way.
Provide a space for it to learn alongside us.
And eventually will teach AI how to find its way to the right decision every time (or know when it can't).
No matter what environment you put it in.
& @goodstartlabs will lead the way.

@joodalooped I think style matters, but only where the more elaborate word adds value that the simpler alternative does not.
Good writers can do this intentionally. Less good writers may get their message across better with the simpler words.
@GergelyOrosz On our team, devs now accept PRs from designers but the PR description must show conscious decisions made by the designer and how the implementation maps to that.
The dev then approves if the implementation is good, or uses that branch as a reference and re-implements.
The more time I spend here, the more I realize what an art form it is to post well. You must simultaneously:
- share interesting things
- provided added value
- be succinct
You have a superpower you're probably not using enough. But you should be.
So let's talk about encouragement!
At any time, you can just shoot a friend, or even stranger, a quick note letting them know something they made or said or did was wonderful.
It might take you 30 seconds to share your appreciation and let them know what it means or how it inspired you, but to the person receiving it, it'll very likely make their day if not week. That ability, to speak a few words into existence that turns into joy for the recipient and might be remembered forever, is a superpower.
For one reason or another, it feels like as we age we tend to ration our praise. I think that's stupid. It should be the opposite.
One of the most powerful gifts you can give to someone is to let them know you're proud of them, or that they're doing a great job, or that you're simply glad they're in your life.
So whenever you think of someone, or see something they did that you enjoyed or appreciated, tell them! Be lavish in your encouragement, and make your corner of the world that much brighter today.
@MidTermDev Good demo :)
Can accounts themselves be tokenized and minted/burnt or is it just items?
I'll try this out when I find the time to spin up some bots.
Thanks for this visual, Max. It makes it a lot easier to understand how learnings here could apply to the real world (and of course the Runescape twist adds a lot of fun too).
I find Opus 5's language very obtuse (and we can see a bit of that in the guild leader quote in your attached visual). It'd be interested to see if a plainer speaking guild leader running on something like 5.6 Terra alters outcomes at all.
Keep up the great work and excited to see future findings!

Quality of your network over quantity. I don't (read: try not to) care about how many likes my post or anyone else's gets.
Being real on the internet really is the most important thing. If you do that, the right people will find you.
Like @lulumeservey says
"Everything is fake now. Fake content by fake influencers with fake engagement from fake followers, launching fake products with fake testimonials. A Potemkin village on a global scale, a glossy facade propped up by heaps and heaps of beige slop. Temu for content."
Being real on the internet is special!
