James Gunn, for his Superman movie, created 2 villains and changed 1 completely: The Hammer, Ultraman and a random Kaiju.
The Hammer didn’t want to kill anyone and was just a distraction in Metropolis.
The Kaiju was just a baby and was scared and didn’t want to kill anyone.
Ultraman was brainwashed clone that broke his bones and destroyed his liver. He didn’t do anything Lex didn’t tell it to do so he too didn’t care to kill people.
The movie is the most bitch made Superman movie, and you expect me to believe the Kryptonians from Man of Steel would have even the slightest hard time with Diaperboy? OK. He getting killed that day
Sat down and finally watched James Gunn's Superman with my family, as promised. And as promised I will be giving an honest review based off of feedback from my wife and kid on @TheLethalGeeks soon...
But let's just say.... I want my 2hrs and 10 mins back🤣
Why on earth is he so insistent on dismissing a well thought out and character driven reading of his film just to ensure his own shallow and surface level take as the reality
He's so obsessed with Superman just being good for goodness sake he's striped out all context for
Why the fuck did DC hire James Gunn when he clearly has no understanding of who their tentpole character, Superman is, or what makes him so special. No wonder everything he's doing at DC is a failure.
