🤬🤬😤My wife takes her 2023 RAV4 to the dealership for a recall service. This was for an airflow sensor

After finishing they come out and tell her that her horn isn’t functioning and that it would be $145 to diagnose the issue + labor and parts to repair

Mind you she knows for a fact that the horn worked this morning

The techs specifically said “we checked all the connections and so it’s not that”

I told her to decline and bring it home

Mind you this is so unlikely to be anything other than a fuse or the fact that they unplugged it and forgot to plug it back in or worse, straight up scamming

After testing the fuse and the relay, as well as the clock spring, I take the radiator cover off to inspect the plugs at the horn and what do you know both horns are unplugged

The airflow sensor is nowhere near these plugs so there’s zero chance these were taken off as part of the job not to mention they said they “checked the plugs”

It’s also impossible they both happen to vibrate loose

Snickers #NCR8757 has grown up right before our eyes, from a 3-month-old puppy to an 8-month-old, 56-lb goofball. 😂

The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each.

Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance.

Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23.

Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10.

Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine.

Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill.

Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state.

The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026.

“On my flight from San Diego to Nashville today, sitting in the row next to me was a 96 year old woman who hasn’t flown in 15 years. For her birthday she wanted to go to Kansas City to see her family but she was scared of flying. She asked for this man’s hand during takeoff and then hugged him again when experiencing turbulence. This gentleman I should say, gladly took her hand, let her hold onto him, calmed her by talking to her and explaining everything that was happening, and simply was that stranger there for her. He knew just what to do the entire flight to help. He helped her stand up to go to the restroom and watched her carefully walk down the aisle. It made me smile the whole flight as he comforted her. This man was her flight angel. He held her bag, helped her get off the plane and into the wheelchair, and when she got confused wondering where her daughter went (she called her her sister), he stayed with her until she caught up with her daughter who got separated from her. I walked away sobbing happy tears being so thankful for people like this wonderful human. She was so grateful that she wanted him to have her flight pretzels. Hats off to you sir, for your kind heart and your compassion toward someone whom you’ve never met. I have never been so touched on a flight before. This truly made my week.”

On 9/10/25, when people in Orem, Utah, dialed 911 after Charlie Kirk was shot, their calls went into Carbyne, an Israeli 911 platform backed early by Ehud Barak and Jeffrey Epstein. Orem's dispatch center has run on it since 2023.

Two months later, Axon, the Arizona company behind the Tasers and body cameras officers wore that day, bought Carbyne for $625 million.

Axon had already invested $90 million in Cellebrite, the phone-cracking firm named in the Robinson warrants. Since 2021, Cellebrite's phone extractions have fed directly into Axon's evidence cloud.

So one company now touches the 911 calls, the body cams, the phone data, and the case evidence. Axon's own system lets authorized users edit a file's metadata, including its "Recorded on" time.
