What could take a whole day to haul in a pole and set it now takes minutes, helping restore power to our customers faster.

This area was one of the hardest-to-reach communities in #Bakersville #WNC after #Helene.

Thanks to NCDOT rebuilding washed-out bridges & roads, we were able to get in safely.

We’ve had to rebuild this line from the substation to where the line ends here in Cane Creek.

We’re in #Bakersville #NC on Cane Creek Road, working to rebuild our infrastructure to restore power to hundreds of customers.

Our crews are replacing dozens of poles and using special equipment to bring the line over the mountain to reach this hard-hit area.

Journeyman lineworker Matt Martinka and line apprentice Nathan Curlee hiked rough terrain to help restore the VA Hospital in Asheville, N.C., with a temporary line while its primary power infrastructure is rebuilt after #Helene.
