I realize that I am just a general contractor. Not a big city developer who has never brought in a project on budget and many of his projects have gone bankrupt. But here is what I know.

Never in the history of any public works project has any legitimate contractor neglected to deal with the National Registry of Historic Properties before demolishing a property. Never in the history of such projects has any contractor not submitted, plans, for permits and approvals. Never in recent history has any project like this not been cleared through environmental agencies who would make sure that asbestos and lead were not in a very old building. Finally, it is unbelievable that in less than a week he has literally doubled the budget for the project.

And since contractors have to be licensed who is the contractor?

This is egregious. This man needs to be reminded that he is one year into a four year lease and he did not even consult the building owners before he destroyed history.

Entrepreneurs / Business owners, whatever you do, don't ever form your company in Delaware. Stay clear. The courts protect corruption and the judges thirst for the chance to screw a wealthy person. Look what they did to Elon. It's wild! They took tens of billions from him. Whether you like him or not it's wrong. In my case, I bid $400,000 more for the Nikola assets at the BK hearing and would close in 72 hours and won (which I didn't care if I won or not) and then the judge let the conflicted attorneys who have sucked miliions out of the creditors give them to a group who lost the bid by 400k on a 3.8mm bid. Over 10% difference which is massive. The creditors are insane and dumb for letting the attorneys lie to them and let them piss away 400k. The attorneys are sucking the money dry while breaching their fudiciary duty to maximize creditor returns because they are blinded by stupidity. You can't make this up. It's no wonder Delaware now has a mass exodus by everybody. Avoid Delaware like the plague and let them self consume. Go to Nevada or Texas. Run from Delaware.
