@EmilyTLaw I think it's #shocking that Darrell Brooks hasn't served more jail time considering he has been criminally charged more than a dozen times over the past 20 years! Brooks being let free on a $1000 bail back in November is #unreal and I think that he deserves jail time.

Toys have been reportedly #stolen from a local charity at an Aurora fire station. A man had taken more than 30 toys throughout the night. The suspect hasn't been identified yet, but police and the community are working together to find the #toytaker. 1/2

After a long 4 days in court, Mohammad Raswoli was found guilty of second-degree murder. He was involved in an altercation with a stranger at Kennedy station back in 2018. Raswoli then pulled out a knife and started to repeatedly stab the stranger. 1/2

The man who was charged with killing 10 people in a supermarket in Colorado has now been deemed #mentallyincompetent to go on trial and will now be treated at a mental hospital. Doctors have said that in jail he has "deteriorated" the past couple of months. 1/3

These doctors hope that treatment and medication will help him to become competent under the law and understand #legalproceedings. His attorney has also deemed him to have "serious mental illness". 2/3

The Senate has finally approved to ban conversion therapy in Canada. There was little to no debate and the bill was fast tracked. The bill will now make it a criminal offence to "undergo the traumatizing practice of “conversion therapy”. 1/3
