@suno is going to start gating downloads soon, so even paying customers only get 20 downloads per month, of songs they designed.

Why? I believe it's because they want you to stay in app. Keeping you retained in the Suno app is training your behavior away from Spotify and Apple Music. It's how they keep you in their sandbox.

Personally, I'm all for it. To me, music is mostly a way to shift or reinforce an emotional state. Music makes me feel things, and AI music has honestly gotten good enough to do that. I'll let you internet philosophers discuss the merits of that, but it is the truth.

If you give me an API so that my agent can build on personas I've developed, and can learn from song refinement and my feedback, to design music on demand or even autonomously for me, I would be glad to stay in the Suno app.

Suno team: I build out custom AI agents, let me in to test run this. I saw an API release, I see the gating, and the writing is on the wall. I want to be a proponent here, so LET ME IN

I built a physical dream machine for my wife. She always wants to capture her dreams when she wakes up. The device captures the dream, illustrates it beautifully and sends a postcard to a private website. I used a spare @Raspberry_Pi and planned it out using @tryblueprint_io. @OpenAI Codex helped me with the software. You can literally just build things even as a non technical person. The future is electric. She absolutely loves it even though I destroyed her food storage box for the case.

I can often feel pretty guilty that I’m taking up people’s time and energy, and am haunted by the idea of a ‘pity hang’. Then I just decided that I have to trust other adults to be adults, and recognize that if they wanted to leave, they would. I didn’t need to preempt and facilitate it.

What’s the argument against incentivizing proper social behavior? Like paying people $100 bounties for getting someone littering on video? Put social pressure on good outcomes.

Everyone talks about scope creep, but cmon, can we at least agree on the basics here?

We are seeking new contracts for all of San Francisco’s homelessness services, prioritizing accountability and results. This effort will shift all contracts to an outcomes-driven model and incorporate performance metrics. We are also seeking feedback from the community and providers throughout this process.

Our administration is fundamentally transforming how the city tackles homelessness and addiction. We are not just getting people off the streets—we are helping them get on the path to recovery and stability. 

But that work can only succeed with a system that is built to deliver results, with accountability when the outcomes aren't good enough. We are not going to continue spending $1 billion of taxpayer money on a failing system—we're fixing the system so we can deliver the safe and clean streets every San Franciscan deserves.

So sick. Claude auto-adds a bunch of visuals (video b-roll, overlay cards, small animations, etc) and then presents me with little cards so I can approve, swap, or remove them. Reduces editing down like 90%.

I get a lot more done. Some of it is useful, some of it is stupid.

All of it is very satisfying, though. It’s scratching itches of creation and following lovely curiosity threads every single day. Happiness, up. Money? Well, also up. Stupid things happening that my friends are probably tired of hearing of? You bet.

It's pretty cool. Suno renders two songs every time, so Claude will A/B test them for differences in each other, then pick out the audio signature of the song portions I like best. It then gets a sense of the words in the styling and the music descriptors it puts in the Lyrics section, and continually just makes it better over time. Cool stuff!

I started making jazz/dubstep mashups (jazzstep) on Suno and getting Claude to analyze the WAV files to figure out how to continually improve it is sickkkkk

@elaifresh Same. I spend way less time gathering all the ingredients to the table and way more time cooking, with an extra chef in the room. Once it starts getting more reliably connected to edge devices, things are going to move QUICKLY
