Things to do in a pandemic.
- make sourdough bread
- practice/learn an instrument
- read books
- workout alone
- avoid people at all costs
...so you are telling me I was already living in a pandemic state of mind?
@RemyLevin We've been training for it our whole lives. They told me the rules for social distancing. I was like, so you are saying keep on keeping on? Done.
Jerry is annoyed his girlfriend only washes her hands the length of the Kit Kat jingle
George accuses a co-worker with allergies of having βcorona coughβ
Elaine wants to break up with her boyfriend but heβs quarantined
Kramer starts making his own hand sanitizer in his bathtub
@EconTalker Some of the most important reasons I listen to almost every episode. The devil's advocate take, the recognition of your bias, and the polite but honest disagreement without turning into a shouting match. Keep on keeping on.
@cfischer6@differentplanet@mrmoneymustache@Tesla No, simply that it is not as binary as you are proposing. If you have the time and some handy links to some well thought out resources, I would like to learn about this fraud that he is committing as it would be a nice to counter some gushing fan fiction that I do read. Thanks!
@cfischer6@differentplanet@mrmoneymustache@Tesla Easy friend, just saying people hated Gates and Edison for a lot of the same reasons people hate Musk. If you think he is a financial fraud that is fine but he also has been instrumental in some big, relatively positive advancements in tech.
@cfischer6@differentplanet@mrmoneymustache@Tesla I find the anti Musk have a strong overlap with the anti Gates and anti Edison crowds. There are totally legitimate reasons to dislike all of them but you also should admit when they are involved in something awesome. It can be both IMHO.
