@infantrydort Pretty sure Kuwait stopped being a "rear" logistics hub when the Pentagon began planning more than a month ago to attack a country 60 miles away, one they knew had a vast arsenal of attack drones and missiles. And yes, war has casualties. Difference is nobody voted for this war.

@KylePostingOnX @Heminator @RonColeman If there were something wrong with what he said under the UCMJ, they would have actually recalled him to active duty to court-martial him like they said they would. But there's not, so instead they're doing something you don't need evidence of a crime to do.

Do you think Congress enacts laws just so they can be broken every time a military officer feels like it?

@Rightanglenews UCMJ, not "code of conduct." And she's not an officer. And guaranteed if she does face discipline, it'll be administrative rather than a court-martial where you actually have to prove guilt.

@JimLaPorta There is still a place for the Corps, but it should definitely be smaller and more specialized. We don't need a seaborne force that big because we don't need to be the world's police. Scale it down to active MEF, one reserve MEF, maybe bring the Seabees back under Marine control.

@info_blurbs @GBNT1952 Yes, the Constitution comes first — but the UCMJ is still federal law, which you must follow while you're defending the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The law says don't kill people who pose no direct threat to you, and no drugs are not a weapon.

The administration says they were allowed to kill the survivors of the boat strike because they were calling for help.
So in the Trump admin's theory, the survivors should not have tried to survive, and by trying to survive they made it lawful to kill them.
