I watched it once to know a cue to leave the room in the future. Working w/dementia sucked but watching someone you love suffer with dementia is a whole other level. This ad is beautiful but gut wrenching.
@AlexMcDaniel@MDAndersonNews Though I only knew your mom through your posts, she seemed like one hell of a lady. Prayers of peace and comfort to you and yours.
When people talk about Texas A&M’s athletic department having deep pockets, this is clearly what they are talking about…
I’ve never been more scared and excited at the same time for this bit, making its debut 🤣
This homecoming these two made history as they shared the first moment in history where a father and son brought it off together at yesterday's homecoming. Congratulations Mr. Antonio Rivers and his son Avante Rivers
This thread will be dedicated to the victims of the mass shooting in Maine.
Tricia Asselin, 53, worked part-time at Just-In-Time Recreation, a bowling alley. Although it was her day off, she was there bowling with her younger sister. She is remembered as being kind and generous.
ONE MORE TIME FOR THE IDIOTS IN THE BACK: NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR CONFERENCE CALL, FACETIME, MUSIC, TV SHOW, PHONE CALL, ETC IN A PUBLIC PLACE. NO ONE. DO YOU HEAR ME?!?! Goodness it’s so damn tacky.
Remember, the nationwide emergency alert test is today at 1:20p CT. A few notes…
*If you have a hidden phone due to a domestic violence/abuse situation, be sure and power the phone down completely. And, be aware the tone could sound when you turn the phone back on.
*The tone you will hear is the same one used for tornado warnings, high impact flash flood warnings, and amber alerts. It is nothing new.
*You will NOT hear the loud tone for 30 minutes. It will be the same short burst you receive for tornado/flash flood warnings.
*Please don’t turn off emergency alerts on your phone. If you do that, you will miss tornado warnings. And, miss the chance to help someone with a child that has been kidnapped when an amber alert is issued. WEA alerts always need to be ON.
*There is also an EAS (Emergency Alert System) portion of the test that local radio/TV stations will air.
*You won’t turn into a zombie, and today doesn’t mark the beginning of World War 3. Please don’t listen to the imbeciles on TikTok.
for anyone in the US that needs it: be aware that the october 4th FEMA test alert that’ll send out will play a loud sound on your phone, even if it’s on silent.
if you choose to turn it off completely during the alert, it *will still play whenever you turn on your phone again.*
On this day 197 years ago the world's first ever public railway was opened in northern England.
And a whole new form of architecture was born: the train station.
So, to celebrate, here are some of the world's greatest train stations...
