This is Mervin Raudabaugh, an American farmer who turned down $15M to build a data center on his land. Instead, he sold it for $2M to a farmland trust to protect it as agricultural land forever.
Our hearts ache as we announce the passing of John Kinsel Sr., a cherished elder and one of the immortal Navajo Code Talkers. At 107, he leaves behind a legacy of unbreakable bravery forged in the fires of Bougainville, Guam, and Iwo Jima. From 1942 to 1946, as a U.S. Marine, he wielded his sacred language, the uncrackable code, to weave the vital communications that defied the enemy and tipped the scales of World War II.
Powerful truth from Michelle Obama that we must never forget: Strong men don't need to put down women to feel powerful. Real strength lifts others up.
Donald Trump doesnโt show strength; he shows us what weakness looks like.
194 YEARS OLD. ๐คฏ Jonathan the tortoise was born around 1832. He has literally lived through the invention of the lightbulb, both World Wars, and the entire internet era. An absolute legend. ๐ข๐
Bradley Cooper is starring in a major hollywood film about january 6th directed by Sean Penn. the officers who were beaten that day are going to have their stories told to millions of people. justice comes in many forms. this is one of them.
Do you agree with Bradley Cooper?
JD Vance: "If you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all end with some kind of negotiation."
Lawrence O'Donnell: "No. They didn't.
WWII ended with ZERO negotiations."
How is Yale Law-educated JD Vance so f*cking stupid?
Donald Trump isn't remotely close to the greatness of the man that Barrack Obama is. I miss the way Obama talked to the American people. I miss having a President with intelligence, empathy and moral values.
To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
I work at CVS and was called in for an emergency shift right after already finishing one. Near the end of my shiftโabout an hour and a half before we closedโa mother and her young child came in. I helped her carry some of her heavier items to the front so she could keep shopping, and then I tried to help her find some soy-based Similac formula for her baby boy, but we were out of it.
When she came up to pay for the things she picked out, the total was more than she could afford. Right away, she started taking some of the bigger items out of her cart to put them back. She told her child theyโd have to wait for snacks another time.
Then, a kind woman who had quietly walked up behind her leaned in and told me, โNo, no, leave it there. She can get it.โ She not only paid for the items the mom was going to return, but covered the entire cartโfood, diapers, baby supplies, everything.
Kindness is still alive in America. Today, it showed up in the form of a stranger helping a baby boy and his mom with simple, everyday things.

Joe Bidenโs legacy is secure.
He will go down as one of the most effective, consequential, and honorable men to ever hold the office of President of the United States.
He led with decency. He governed with purpose. He put the country before himself.
Nothing can change that.
