🚨🇬🇧 SADIQ KHAN ‘GROOMING GANG COVER-UP’ CLAIMS ROCK LONDON
An investigation has uncovered evidence of grooming gang activity in London - allegedly ignored or downplayed by Mayor Sadiq Khan despite his repeated public denials that such networks exist in the capital.
Reviewed documents show multiple reports of young girls being raped in hotels, plied with drugs, and threatened by groups of men - cases that whistleblowers say bear the same hallmarks as the Rochdale and Rotherham scandals.
Former detective Maggie Oliver, who exposed police failures in Rochdale, said:
“Everybody at the top knew and wanted to cover it up.
What I’ve seen in London follows the same pattern.”
The reports - from His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary between 2016 and 2025 - describe at least 6 potential victims of gang-based sexual exploitation.
Khan publicly acknowledged reading these documents, which criticised the Met’s handling of abuse cases.
Following the Express investigation, Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley admitted for the 1st time that the force has a “steady flow of live multi-offender child sexual exploitation investigations.”
Critics accused Khan of “facilitating a cover-up”.
Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Philp MP:
“It is shameful that the Mayor claims to have no indication of grooming gangs despite personally responding to reports containing clear evidence.”
Reform UK’s Lee Anderson added:
“There is real, credible evidence. The survivors deserve justice.”
Survivors and child protection experts said the abuse has been “hiding in plain sight”, warning that London could be facing its own systemic scandal.
Khan’s office has not yet issued a formal response to the revelations.
